The forest is divided in 3 areas dedicted to total preservation, ecoturism, and traditional exploitation. The park hosts 11 species of lemurs, camaleons, lizards, howls, and many other animals. It is possible to visit the forest by day and night through 6 km of itineraries or on the river by canoa. By managing the park we- the villagers- diversify our income and changed lifestile to protect the forest, instead of exploiting it.

The Itineraries
Explore the forest choosing between two different itineraries, of three or two hours:

Differently than any other park in Andasibe we don't cover for guiding fee, which is already included in the ticket price.

Since 2009 our association manages a park of 31 hectares of rainforest in Andasibe to protect the environment and foster local development
